Description
The Aura Birthstone Ring is a hand-cast keepsake ring that can hold any of your precious inclusions. The Keepsake stone is accented by a genuine birthstone of your choice.
Created using the ancient lost wax casting technique; It's solid, organic design makes it a perfect heirloom piece.
Stone Size:
Available with a 4x6mm, 6x8mm or 8x10mm Keepsake Stone.
2mm Faceted Birthstone.
We only use genuine AA quality gemstones.
Band Thickness:
1.6mm round band, organic profile.
Cast Metal Information:
100% nickel free.
Argentium Silver; a bright white, hypoallergenic, durable and highly tarnish resistant alternative to Sterling Silver.
Palladium White Gold; An alloy of White Gold + Palladium that creates a warm grey colour. Traditional Rhodium plated white gold is unsuitable for keepsake jewellery due to it requiring re-plating ever 12-18 months. Palladium White Gold is un-plated, durable and does not tarnish like traditional white gold.
Our cast gold range is handmade sustainably using recycled 100% Australian Gold.

Milk & Stone Jewellery purchased after 17/11/2023 is covered by our non-yellowing guarantee. If your stone material ever discolours, we’ll repair it free of charge.

FAQ
Can I send frozen milk?
Yes you can!
If your milk is frozen please make sure you defrost it and mail it to us in a sterile milk storage bag.
Squeeze out any air inside the bag, seal it, wrap it in a paper towel and place it inside another milk storage bag. Label the second bag with your order number (not receipt number) and your name.
Your milk does not need to stay cold in transit.
What is the difference between Gold Filled and Solid Gold?
Gold filled jewellery has a layer of gold bonded to a base metal, while solid gold jewellery is made entirely of gold. Solid gold is more valuable, but gold filled pieces offer a more affordable option with a layer of gold that is thicker than gold plated items.
Solid gold can be repaired if scratched however gold filled cannot be repaired if scratched. The process for repairing scratches will expose the base metal in gold filled jewellery.
Gold filled jewellery can last 10-30 years. Solid gold jewellery can last forever and is our recommended choice for keepsakes with inclusions that cannot be replaced and/or for heirloom pieces.
How many inclusions can I add to my stone?
We recommend limiting your additions to 3 inclusions. The more inclusions you add the 'busier' your stone will look. We find that busy designs distract from the natural beauty of each inclusion and the story being told.
How much of my inclusions do I send?
Milk: 10-15mL (1 tbs) of milk inside a sterile milk storage bag with the air squeezed out. If you can't get this much we can makes stones with as little as 2.5mL.
Ashes: 1/2 teaspoon. Any ashes that aren't used for your piece are posted back to you with your completed jewellery.
Hair: A pinch about 5mm thick.
Placenta/Umbilical cord: One capsule or a 5-10mm dried section.
Sand/Soil/Flowers: These inclusions can't be sent internationally and will be rejected/destroyed by Australian bio-security.
Sand/soil: 1/2 teaspoon.
Flowers: 2-4 Petals from each flower. These must be dried for a minimum of 3 weeks prior to being sent to us.
